With Special Guests Grandma Jyoti Ma, Yeye Luisah Teish, and Ashley Tamburello, Georgina Gorman and Madeleine Scrodellis from TreeSisters.
Developed over five years and co-published by Western environmental charity (TreeSisters) and representatives from Indigenous Peoples and Nations (The Fountain), "Rooted in Ethics: The Community Tree Stewardship Framework" seeks to redefine ethical tree growing. It challenges systemic power imbalances prevalent in the reforestation sector and wider society by providing guidelines and principles in land restoration that honour the rights of Nature, women, communities, and cultures.
In this webinar, we have the pleasure of hosting a discussion with special guests Grandma Jyoti Ma, Yeye Luisah Teish, and Ashley Tamburello, Georgina Gorman and Madeleine Scrodellis from TreeSisters. Join us to discuss the ethics and principles in Rooted in Ethics and consider how these may apply to Trust-based Philanthropy.
